With this free Android apk, you can instantly stream any Windows games that run on your Android device. But downloading the apk file and getting started isn’t as easy as that. So I decided to write this cloud gaming apk download tutorial for you, because it can help you with the steps to sideloading the OnLive desktop client.

How to sideload the OnLive desktop client on your Android device

For the sake of simplicity, I’m going to assume you have the Android apk file installed on your device (even if it’s not the default apk). You also need the Apk Analyzer app installed on your device in order to analyze the Android apk file.

The Apk Analyzer app is a free, easy-to-use apk analyzer that lets you download the apk file from your Android device and analyze it to find out how to sideload it. You can then download it on your PC and install the client from there.

There are other tools for this, like GetJar for instance. But I personally don’t think it’s as easy-to-use as the Apk Analyzer.

Before we start, there are some prerequisites you need to have:

Android smartphone running Android 4.0+

Android tablet running Android 4.0+

Android device on Wi-Fi or 3G
